Sarah Ellis, the owner and designer of Polished Pear Interiors, was inspired to open her online design store when she and her husband purchased their first home in Southern California. She remembered when she was growing up how much she loved driving around touring high-priced model homes. She was excited to have the opportunity to see all her interior design idea's come to light in her own home. Friends and family admired her design ideas, creativity, custom artwork, and keen eye for design. Soon after designing and moving into her new home, she started receiving requests for assistance in creating the perfect space for others in their home. Not long after that, Polished Pear Interiors was born.
